Our Christmas!

We had a wonderful Christmas and it was fun to talk to our families.  Memphis was definitely spoiled this year.  I still don't think he understood what was really going on but he loves all his new fun toys:)  Here are a bunch of pictures from Christmas Eve to Christmas Day.

CHRISTMAS EVE
We watched The Santa Clause
Then Danny and Memphis went up and jumped on the bed
And played under the bed
Great Grandma Astle gave Memphis the cute PJ's for Christmas
Aleena and Kayzee just watched
Memphis was in bed by 8:30 and Santa came by 9.  Kayzee fell asleep so we went to bed too:)

CHRISTMAS MORNING
Memphis woke up at 7 and we listened to him play in his room till about 7:45 when Kayzee woke up so we went down to open presents about 8.  We let Memphis open all his presents first then we opened Kayzee's and then finished with ours.  We had to put each of Memphis's opened presents away so he wouldn't be distracted to open the next.  We were done by 9 so we all went and took a nap:)  Then we played some more.

DANNY'S

ALEENA'S
I also went and bought myself a bunch of new clothes:)

Memphis got this cool blow up jumping play toy so we set it up in his room.  Thanks Grandma and Grandpa Royer!
Chocolate face!
We let him sleep in it that night

Grandma and Grandpa Thorpe got Memphis and Danny remote control cars so here they are playing with them

 Merry Christmas Everyone!

Kayzee has croup now, she is one sad little girl:(
We leave for Blanding on Thursday to celebrate the new year with Danny's family!

Ready for Christmas!

We are excited for Christmas.  The presents are waiting in the basement to be brought up on Christmas Day.
Kayzee is ready and looking as cute as ever!
The tree is decorated (I inherited this pre-lit tree from my grandma)
The stockings are hung
The countdown has begun (thanks mom for the cute advent calendar)
We believe in Santa here at our house
Can't wait to see Memphis's face when he comes down Christmas morning to a room full of presents
My mom made this cute nativity scene out of wooden blocks and stickers.  I put it out on the kitchen table so Memphis could play with it.  He loves stacking things.
Daddy and Memphis got to make a snowman the other day.  There is a foot of snow out there today so we are going to go back out because Memphis loves playing in the snow:)
Memphis has croup again so we got him a shot of steroids and he is doing better.   He loves giving hugs and kisses to everyone especially Kayzee and he can now count to 3 both talking and using his fingers!
Danny and I gave talks on Sunday.  We both have not given talks in Sacrament Meeting for at least 5 years so I guess it was about time.  We also got new callings.  I am playing the piano in Relief Society and we are both den leaders in scouts.  We have the 9 and 10 year olds and just meet with them once a week to help them get their badges done.
I have the next two weeks off so I am excited to be home with my precious little ones:)
Kayzee is sleeping from 9:30pm to 7:30am now so she has finally been moved to her own crib in her own room.  Gotta love having 2 kids under 2 and both of them sleeping 10-11 hours every night!  I am one lucky mommy:)
We hope you all have a wonderful Christmas!

Little Sister, Big Brother!

My mom gave me these T-shirts she found in Seattle.  Too cute:)
Cutest smile!
Kayzee is 3 months old today!  She is sleeping about 8 hour stretches during the night.  Whenever I put her down for tummy time she scoots around and rolls over onto her back!!!!  She is just growing up way to fast.  She is actually developing faster than Memphis did and is taller than he was.  I really wonder when she will be walking if Memphis started at 9 months.
Here are some cute pictures of Memphis and Kayzee playing.  Memphis is so cute with her now.  He will pat her head and give her kisses and talk to her so sweetly.  I just don't get my camera out fast enough when he does.
Kayzee looking at her daddy!
Memphis loves to hide under blankets.  So silly!
We got our Christmas decorations up!  Our Christmas tree is decorated from the middle up because of our handy little Memphis.  And all our presents are living in our basement right now so Memphis doesn't open them all up.  He is going to love Christmas morning when he comes downstairs to a room full of presents:)  Pictures of our decorated house to come!
