First Days of School!

School has started!  We have been back for a little over a week now and it's going great!  Alpine School District is celebrating 100 years so they had a big celebration with all the teachers and employees in the district.  It was really cool.  I love working for Alpine School District!

 This is my 11th year of teaching!!!  Can you believe it?  I taught 4th grade one year, music one year, and now I have been teaching PE for 9 years.  I LOVE PE k-6th!  I am excited for a new year even if it started out horribly.  School started last Wednesday and the Tuesday night before I was up all night sick and I thought I had food poisoning.  But by Friday I was worse hadn't eaten anything and was not getting any sleep so I guess it is just an IBS-D flare up from all the stress I was feeling starting up school again.  I would have gotten a sub but it would have cost me $220 each day the first week of school so I just suffered through it.  My students know me and my rules so they were so good and just played games while I sat in the corner trying not to pass out or be sick.  Let's just say I ate through 3 boxes of pepto to make it through each day.  This week I am finally feeling better!!!!  This is part of my team at school music, PE, and computers...

 Kayzee is still in preschool.  This will be her 3rd year!  She missed the kindergarten cut-off date by one day!!!!  Because she is a pro at preschool and is the oldest her teachers deemed her teacher's assistant.  She helps with everything and she is loving it!  Go Kayzee!

Memphis is now in 1st grade!  He is loving it so far.  He especially loves that he can now eat lunch at school.  I get to have him for PE every Monday too!  His teacher is my co-worker/friend/beachbody coach so it's fun to be so close to her.  He is going to have a fun year!  Go Memphis!

The end of another summer!

Minus the car accident we had a great summer!  I definitely didn't want it to end.  My kids are older and I had so much fun doing so many fun things with them everyday.

KANGAROO ZOO

 LOST TOOTH Memphis lost another tooth and he also wanted to learn how to play the piano so I have started teaching him.  He is catching on so quickly!

21 DAY FIX I started another round and since my hips are all better I have been enjoying working out again!  Here is what one of my good days looked like!

AMERICAN FORK CARNIVAL

 Memphis was brave and went on this crazy ride with daddy!  He looked terrified but said it was so fun!

 Danny won two fish at one of the carnival booths and Memphis named his Pirate and Kayzee named hers Elsa.  They died a week later.  Kayzee cried.

LEHI OUTDOOR POOL AND SLIDES Kayzee surprised us all by going down both of these slides all by herself.  Last summer she was afraid of everything.  This summer she was miss independent!  Memphis and Kayzee love water slides.

OLD ROOMMATES I had fun getting together with two of my old roommates who still live close by.  We met at one of their houses and our kids had fun playing and holding these baby chicks

 MORNING CARTOONS Most mornings we slept in and Memphis and Kayzee would come cuddle with me in bed.  Lazy mornings are the best!

Well, I have already been back to school for teacher days and we are going to back to school nights for everyone and then another school year starts WEDNESDAY!
