Memphis played soccer this last August into September. We knew he would be good because he has the Royer sport gene in him. He had games every Tuesday and Saturday for 8 weeks. He played on a kindergarten Lehi city team. We were not supposed to keep score but we kept track of how many points Memphis scored each game because he was one of the high scorers on his team. They just played 4 on 4 for 45 minutes and with 8 kids on his team they got breaks too. His team was called the Lightening Bolts. Sometimes you will see Memphis in purple and sometimes in white that was the Home and Away colors. Memphis averaged about 4 points a game. One game he scored 8!
We asked Memphis if he wanted to keep playing soccer or if he wanted to try a different sport. He really wants to play baseball (he is an amazing hitter already) and Danny wants him to wrestle so we will see what comes up next. Everyone on the sidelines said he needs to play football. He is solid and one of the biggest kids out there. Anyone that ran into him fell over. We will see!
