Memphis vs. Fork!!!

Just a new adventure for me today. I heard Memphis climb up on a kitchen chair (he will climb on everything now!) and I knew there was stuff all over the table so I ran into the kitchen to stop him. He was just too fast for me. I saw he had a fork in his hand so I went over to get it and he fell off the chair with the fork in his mouth. Memphis vs. Fork= Fork through the tip of his tongue. Result=lots of blood and crying. I called the pediatrician and he just said to give him tylenol and let him suck on ice (Memphis loved the ice part). Memphis is ok (off and running around again). Mommy on the other hand is still in shock. More adventures to come I am sure. Especially when the second one comes:)
So I posted the video of Memphis screaming in my last post and I forgot to post the picture I got of him screaming too. So funny!!!

AWESOME WEEKEND and SCREAMING!

I (totally unintentionally) taught my son to scream. Danny says I scream too much so Memphis is just copying me. But, we had fun in this video and it makes me laugh everytime I watch it. Enjoy!
We had a great Easter weekend. My parents and brother came from Washington and my twin sisters came from California to visit. It was fun trying to get my family here with all the snow storms. Danny's parents came to visit too up from Blanding. On Friday, April 2 Danny, me, and Memphis were sealed in the Mt. Timp temple. It was also my birthday so what an awesome birthday present! My mom had gotten sick but luckily she made it to the sealing. Thanks to my mother-in-law for being there to be my escort:) I was sick too but I made it through everything. It was such a great experience and I loved it when they brought Memphis in all dressed up in a white suit. Too cute! He had a hard time with everything and cried but it was so wonderful being sealed as a family and thinking about the baby we have coming in Sept. It was also great walking into the sealing room and seeing all of our family and friends. Here is a picture of our little family in front of the temple.
After we had a party at our new house with our grandparents, aunts and uncles, cousins, and friends. It was fun to see everyone and show off our new house. For Easter we went up to Logan for my Grandpa's 80th birthday and some Easter fun. It was great to see everyone and to celebrate my Grandpa! It was a fun weekend and then our families had to leave:( My sisters are staying the rest of the week while I have spring break so we are going to have fun and I am sure spend too much time spoiling Memphis.
I had my doctor's appointment for my 17th week check-up. It was hard hearing the heart beat cause the baby kept kicking and punching so much so the doctor just laughed and said, "Well be prepared for a active baby!" I just thought, "Oh great I am going to have two little handfuls!!!"
I still need to get pictures posted of our new house it has just been crazy busy so soon!

BUSY, BUSY, BUSY!

Have not blogged in awhile cause I have been so busy!

We moved into our new house on Feb 27. We had more help than I was expecting and we got everything moved in about 2 hours. It took more than that to clean our old apartment. I just am so thankful for all the help!!! Thanks to my old ward, friends, and family!!! I am still unpacking! It is really hard with a rambunctious 1 year old who has to get into everything you are working on. I even took two days off of teaching and am still not done. Where did I get all this stuff and how did it all fit in our little apartment????? Oh well, I LOVE our new house and am having fun decorating and especially love that we don't share walls with anyone just maybe the occasional train that runs behind our house.

As a house warming gift we received a puppy. Yes, we wanted a dog eventually but I was not ready for that and am still not. We also got another puppy from the same people and I only agreed to that so they could keep each other company while me and Danny work all day. One is a black lab mixed with some kind of small dog so it looks like a black lab but with short little legs and will only get to be about half the size. We named it PD. That means Puppy Dog cause I call it puppy and Memphis calls it Dog. The other one is a little chihuahua. Its name is Brodie and I think he is my favorite. Memphis was at the top of our stairs and PD is just a little too playful and scratched Memphis near his eye and pushed him down the stairs. Not to happy about that so he has learned to stay away from Memphis.

While I am not busy teaching, playing with my son, training dogs, or unpacking, I am busy planning our temple sealing!!! We have finally set a date and it just happens to fall on my birthday!!! It is going to be an awesome day. APRIL 2. We are also having a party afterward at our new house. So excited to be sealed to my husband, my son, and the little one inside me. I am excited to see my family too cause they live so far away.

Well I so want to post pictures too but I still have not come across the box that has our camera in it but I am going to take pictures of our new house and puppies and will post them soon!!!

KISSING and PACKING!

KISSING
I just had to share how Memphis gives kisses right now cause it is too cute. I will say, "Can you give Mommy a kiss?" and then he will place his finger on my cheek and make a kissing sound. Not really a kiss but sure creative.

PACKING
We have been busy packing to move into our new house tomorrow. Memphis sure loves the
mazes of boxes in our house and especially loves the empty ones to play in. I have been trying to get Memphis to help me pack and put things in the boxes but ya right! All he wants to do is take the stuff out!

THE TINIEST TOUCH:)

I was sitting on the couch today CRYING because I was stressing about everything going on (strep throat, school musical performances all week, packing to move sat, sick baby, being pregnant, 1,000 health papers to grade...)

Well, Memphis came over, climbed into my lap, said "Momma" and then with his tiny little finger he WIPED AWAY MY TEARS.  The TINIEST TOUCH cures all even if it is just for a MOMENT it is a moment to REMEMBER.  I love you Memphis!!!

BABY #2 and NEW HOME!!!

Just had my first Dr. appointment for baby #2.   Expected arrival date is Sept 12.  Bad planning on my part with my teaching job but oh well we are excited:)  The baby is already measuring a week bigger so maybe it will come early like Memphis.

Had our home inspection on Monday and it went really well.  There were no major concerns and the home inspector says it looks like a great house:)  That made us feel better about our decision and we will probably be moving in on Feb 27!!!  Now to packing...

ONE YEAR CHECK-UP!

Memphis had his well-baby check-up on Monday and he is one healthy little boy.  He now weighs 23 lbs. which actually is average for his age and he is 31 1/2 in. tall which is above-average.  He may be tall but he got the short Royer legs (yes I blame his dad:) so he wears a size smaller in pants than his shirts.  The doctor cleared him to eat anything now so we let him try fish and peanut butter yesterday and he LOVES them!!!  He has had a rough couple of days and nights because he got some new shots but he is just getting smarter and cuter everyday!  I am trying to wean him off the bottle and I thought it would be easy like the binky but no.  It is harder than I thought.  Any ideas?  Here Memphis is riding his first four-wheeler-all by himself:)

We got the call today that everything with the house we were under contract with is ready to go so we are getting the inspection done and hopefully it clears and we can move in the 27th of this month!!!  Can't wait!

I am busy with teaching and finishing the final touches on our school musical "Willy Wonka."  It is a lot of work and I hope the kids get into gear so we are ready for performances at the end of this month.

Danny had his last church basketball game tonight before the tournament.  He is also going to start working every Fri in Price.  I am sure Memphis will miss hanging out with his daddy all day but it is what is needed at this time to pay off Danny's kidney stone emergency room bills and his new tool box.

I find out on Tue what the due date for our baby is going to be so I will update you soon:)

Miss our families!!!
