Picture Overload!

Just realized that I have way too many pictures to upload since my last post so I better blog about our crazy June before we leave for Washington on Saturday.

BEAR LAKE
We started off June with a fun vacation to Bear Lake.  We went for four days.  Luckily it was during the week before the crowds started coming for the summer so it wasn't too busy.  None of my extended family could go so I invited a few friends but no one could make it.  Everyone was too busy or working still.  It was just me and my kids.  WE HAD SO MUCH FUN!  I really enjoyed having the condo to ourselves.  And spending so much time with Memphis and Kayzee was the best!!!  We went on walks, we went to the beach, we went swimming (we spent hours in the swimming pool), and miniature golfing.  I LOVE MY KIDS!

The day before we left Kayzee was walking on the treadmill and fell, luckily she was wearing long pants and didn't beat up her legs too badly but she got a treadmill burn on her chest.  I was very glad she didn't get it on her face.  Our wonderful neighbor brought over some silvadene and that helped it heal really well.  Everyone told me a cream to reduce scaring but it is so EXPENSIVE!  I am just hoping that because she is so young that her skin will heal and not leave too bad of a scar.  Keeping sunscreen on was the worst.  It stung so bad she would just scream every time.  Poor girl!
We made it to the condo!
 Memphis loved the water slide!
His favorite thing to do was stop at the end and jump in!

Had to put more sunscreen on and had to wait for her to stop crying...what a trooper!
They added bunk beds to the condo...my kids loved sleeping on it!
 Sandcastles
 Bear Lake was really low
 Miniature golfing
 More sunscreen tears

So I kept wondering if I should sign up Memphis for swimming lessons.  Good thing I didn't.  He basically taught himself how to swim and LOVED diving to the bottom of the pool for rings.  GO MEMPHIS!
Not a good picture but we got to see this huge owl
More miniature golfing...Memphis even got a hole in one!

Kayzee throwing a tantrum.  She didn't want to walk all the way back to the condo and I wouldn't carry her.
More of Memphis swimming all by himself

Last time we went to Bear Lake Kayzee would not leave the baby pool.  This time she got brave and loved swimming with me in the big pool.  GO KAYZEE!

Our view while we ate ice cream cones at the resort store.

KAYZEE
The week after we got home Kayzee got the stomach flu that had been going around our ward.  I am pretty sure she got it from church.  She was throwing up for 5 days.  It was no fun.  Luckily Kayzee has learned to throw up in a bowl so I didn't have to clean up any messes and no one else in our family got it!

BIRTHDAY PARTY
Kayzee got better just in time for a cousin birthday party.  Danny's oldest sister moved back to Kaysville from Missouri with her little family and it was her son Owen's birthday.  Memphis and Kayzee are excited that their cousins live closer and we have seen them a couple times now so hopefully they can get to know each other better.  Owen and Memphis are close in age and Kayzee and MayLynn are close in age and they are expecting baby #3 (girl) on Friday!
We had a great time at Owen's birthday party.  It was at a park and splash pad in Kaysville.

FATHER'S DAY
Father's day was rough this year.  Danny was really sick:(  I had planned on making all of his favorite meals and he couldn't really eat them.  Poor guy.  I was proud of myself and made meals for him that I couldn't eat (stupid stomach problems) or I had never made before...french toast, grilled cheese, pizza pockets (his sister Nita made the dough) and german chocolate cupcakes.  I felt bad Danny and I couldn't really enjoy it all but everyone else said they were yummy.  I took the kids to church by myself so Danny could rest and then he opened presents.  Happy Father's Day Danny.

DENTIST
Memphis and Kayzee had their 6 month dentist check-up and cleaning.  Memphis always does really well but Kayzee didn't do well at all the last time so we practiced being brave and I told her I would treat her after.  She did so good!!!  The dentist said my kids have beautiful teeth and they were cavity free.  YAY!  After wards we went to Swig for ice cream and sugar cookies!!!  What a way to celebrate no cavities but with sugar right;)  We went inside because they have fun swings...

SHOTS
I have had A LOT of blood work done because of my stomach issues and trying to figure out what is exactly wrong and why I can't eat anything without getting really sick.  My blood work came back with some scary low levels because I can't eat enough nutrients so I have started taking way too many pills (3 pills at every meal) and I have to give myself shots.  I was not excited about the shot part.  I don't mind needles it was just the thought of giving it to myself.  My sister-in-law Nita who is living with us volunteered to be my home nurse and so we had a nurse teach us how to to it and Nita is now a pro:)  Thanks Nita!  It has been amazing how much better I feel!!!  I have more energy and being better at not eating food that makes me sick I feel better.  Nita and I have started working out together and it is fun pushing each other to do and be better and healthier.  We have fun:)

TEMPLE
After we had learned from a nurse how to administer my shots Memphis saw the temple and he said he wanted to go see all the pretty flowers and get a closer look at the temple.  How could I say no to that?

MEMPHIS
Not only did Memphis teach himself how to swim all by himself...he also taught himself how to ride his bike without training wheels!  Last summer I tried to help him learn but he just screamed and fought the idea so this summer we convinced him and Auntie Nita helped him take off his training wheels and helped him a little bit but he just got it and took off.  Now he loves riding his bike every day.  GO MEMPHIS!

WEDDING
Danny's youngest brother Benny got married this last weekend to his new wife Kayla.  We love Benny and Kayla and we are so happy for them!  We left Friday after Danny's work's annual golf tournament and drove down to Glendale.  It was a 4 hour drive south to a tiny little town where she grew up.  Their reception came first Friday night.  It was a circus theme (decorations and food) and we all had a great time.  It was at a park so the kids had fun playing at the park and of course eating all the yummy treats (cotton candy, popcorn, funnel cake, mixed drinks, YUM!)  Most of Danny's family came for the weekend so it was fun to see everyone.

The happy couple...

Sooooo...Benny and Kayla decided to get married the same day Danny and I got married.  JUNE 21.  They were nice and asked us if it was ok:)  Here we are at the luncheon after the wedding.  Happy wedding day Benny and Kayla and happy 6 YEARS to Danny and I!
After the luncheon we drove the 4 hours home.  We had to stop at Dairy Queen for dinner on the drive home.  YUM.  My kids are so great traveling in the car.  Good thing because we have a long 12-13 hour drive on Saturday to Washington!  Here they are being silly...

BIRTHDAY
It is Danny's birthday today!!!  The big 27.  Danny went to work so we went to a museum with our friends down the street.  It was free admission and it was actually really interesting.  It was a historic Lehi museum.  Then we went and grabbed Danny's favorite lunch (whopper at Burger King) and had lunch with him at work.  Then I took the kids to get their hair cut, their hair has gotten so long it was much needed.  My cousin did a great job and they were so good for her.  Now a pizza is in the oven for when Danny gets home from work and we will have Danny's favorite root beer floats for dessert and open presents.  Happy Birthday Danny!

The only picture Memphis would let me take of his new haircut
Now time to do laundry and pack for our big long trip up to Washington to see my family.  I can't wait to see them all.  My parents have planned a lot of fun activities and we can't wait for the crazy firework show my cousins and family put on every year!

Hope everyone is having a fun summer!
