July was so busy I have to make July's blog update in two parts!!! My goal was to keep my kids busy every day, keep them moving, and keep them off screens. We did so much that is probably why it went by so fast...but it sure was fun!
We drove down to Blanding for the 4th of July and spent time with Danny's family.
When we got there Kayzee found the baby kitties and loved playing with them and holding them. And wow, Kayzee is beautiful! Such a cutie.
Grandma got out her pool and slip and slide to keep the kids cool.
We went to the annual Blanding 4th of July Parade
After the parade we went to the Dinosaur Museum to get out of the heat!
We also got to go boating at Recapture while we were there. The kids loved being pulled on the tube. The one time Memphis and Kayzee went together with no adult they got pulled under and fell off. Memphis swam over and calmed down Kayzee while they waited for grandpa to pull the boat around to get them. Of course they wanted to keep going.

The Royer's make a softball team every year and play in the midnight madness. Playing softball literally all night is not my idea of fun so I watch a couple games with the kids then we go home and sleep. This year they took 4th place!
Love the Blanding fireworks show!
After we got home from Blanding I went downstairs and Memphis was making breakfast for Kayzee. He said it was a surprise for her. Then I went and found Kayzee and she was making Memphis' bed to surprise him. These two are the best of friends and I love it. Memphis and Kayzee have been learning and practicing the piano all summer. Memphis has really caught on and is just sailing through the books. Kayzee is also our little artist and loves to draw and color.
We tried a new place this summer. FUNTOPIA!!! It's a room full of different walls you can climb and a slide. My kids LOVE this place we went twice this summer. Great workout for them too!
They also had a jumping obstacle
We went swimming at Manila Pond "Beach". They didn't want to go but once we got there I couldn't get them to leave.
We got Just Dance for our PS4 and we have been having fun dancing. This is Kayzee with one of her friends...
We went to the Curiosity Museum at Thanksgiving Point
My nephew James is growing up and getting cuter every day!
Memphis had a Raingutter Regatta for scouts. He had to make his own boat and then blow it down the water track. It was against their own den group and it was a double elimination. Memphis lost his very first race and I didn't think he would get very far but he ended up beating everyone in his wolf den! 1st place way to go Memphis!!!!
1st place winners for wolves (Memphis), bears, and webelos.
And of course the dads had to have their turn...
We went to a train park one day...
We went to the Loveland Living Aquarium. Such a cool place!
My kids have never been roller skating and they wanted to try it so off we went. Memphis didn't like it but he did pretty good. Kayzee loved it and could skate all by herself by the time we left.
Learning to skate is exhausting
The skating was at the Classic Fun Center and they had a bunch of other stuff to do too...skating, jumping, playing, and arcade.
Our ward rented out the Lehi City Outdoor Pool for a night so we went swimming
Memphis had his last machine pitch baseball game of the season. Yay no more coaching of us! Our team did so good and we had a fun time.
Way to go Rockies!!!
Neptune Park
Found a new park-All Together Playground
Kayzee went to Princess dance camp again this summer. She loved it!
Seven Peaks Lehi Fun Center
I took the kids shoe shopping for school and Memphis is already in a size 5. Big kid! Also it has been a year since Memphis got his tonsils out and he has not been sick all year long! It was so hard at the time but I am so glad we did it. Now let's hope I don't get strep like I did every month last school year.
July Part 2 is going to be all about our trip to California...LEGOLAND and the beach!

That climbing place looks amazing!! So fun!
